In the 2014-2015 academic year, 90% of our full-time, first-year undergraduate students received assistance through scholarships and grants. You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be eligible for, and receive, an actual financial aid award that includes federal and state grant, loan, or work-study assistance under Title IV.
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the UMSL Net Price Calculator, please keep in mind that these estimates do not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance or a final net price. They are only estimates based on average price of attendance and on financial aid provided to students in a previous year. These estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the University of Missouri-St. Louis, or the State of Missouri.
The estimates provided in this calculator apply to full-time, first-time degree-seeking undergraduate students only. The information in this calculator is used to help you make estimates about your costs of attending UMSL. Keep in mind that the cost of attending UMSL is different for each student. Various factors such as credit hours enrolled, degree program, housing choices, special course fees, and individual needs will all impact your actual costs of attending UMSL. The cost of attendance used for this calculator assumes 15 credit hours per semester. Because we use averages, the figures seen here may vary slightly from other published figures. Price of attendance and financial aid availability vary by year. The University reserves the right to modify by increase or decrease the fees charged for attendance and other services at the University, including but not limited to tuition or educational fees, at any time when in the discretion of the governing board the same is in the best interest of the University, provided that no increases can or will be effective unless approved by the governing board not less than thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the academic term (semester, etc.) to which the fees are applicable, with all modification of fees to be effective irrespective as to whether fees have or have not been paid by or on behalf of a student prior to the effective date of the modification.
